Hello again, everyone!
Hope you’ve all been well. At long last, I’m back on The Hidden Chalkboard and I’m looking forward to what’s in store for all of us! The site’s had a makeover and the Facebook page has been updated, but that’s only part of the changes that have taken place.
“ the Lord pulled the plug…”
For a long time, I’ve been a very busy man. Work got intense and my studying moreso. With as much studying and editing that went into The Hidden Chalkboard’s content, it was virtually a full online course. If you were here when we got started back in late 2015, you know what I’m talking about.
Ultimately, the Lord pulled the plug on the site and since then, I’ve had to learn a few lessons when it came to teaching and ministering to people. A few hospital visits and a lot of patience on the Lord’s part also taught me about not overworking myself, even for Him. (Still learning how not to do that!!)
I’ve been praying to get back on The Chalkboard for awhile because it’s an amazing tool for sharing the truth with the world. But with as much work and study as I do offline, I’m going to follow the Lord’s advice and keep this site a lot lighter now.
So…what’s changing?
Moving forward, we’re going to keep the content a lot lighter. As I study offline, I’ll load the final products online into the new Studies & Resources section of the site. The Audio Studies are still on there, so if you or someone you know wants to get an overview on the things they need to know for this time, head right over there.
Most importantly, our blog is going to be just that. A blog. I’m going to share things with you and as we move forward, I hope you’ll come to share things with me. And since there’s no time like the present, let’s get started!
My name is Earl (yes, I know) Finley and I’m the person behind The Hidden Chalkboard. I was inspired to start this site back in June 2015 after the Obergefell ruling. My love for teaching and studying Bible prophecy inspired the name for this site.
I’m a Christian that attends a Seventh-Day Adventist church. I’m a 35-year old introvert that studies his Bible (a lot), reads, exercises, cooks (when I can), and likes to be out in nature. For those of you that have liked, commented, and shared The HC’s content for all of these years, I just want to say thank you for your support and I hope that you will continue to do so as we move forward.
If you’ve been a part of this site, tell me a little about you. Ask me questions. It’s customary for teachers to have a Q & A session before the class officially gets started 😉
See you soon, guys.
